Havrefjell Utvikling wants to be a progressive developer of attractive areas to live in for environment-minded persons in the North of Europe.

Our idea of undertake
Havrefjell Utvikling and its subsidiary Havrefjell Hyttene want to acquire grounds in a natural neighbourhood and turn them into building lots, with care for the environment. So we take care of the sale of building lots, the construction of cottages of high quality, the sale of wood and building materials, all of this with an excellent service and for the correct market price.

Buy of attractive areas
We focus on areas reserved for holiday houses, but also residential and industrial areas are possible.

Participation in local development
We cooperate with the local authorities for the development of the region. We strive after a common objective: develop good areas to live in, with care for nature and to satisfy the owners, as well as other users of the area and the local community.

Development of ecologically sound building lots
It is important to us when building a cottage and first exploiting a building lot, to preserve the unique aspects of the environment. So we pay attention not to change the natural ecosystem too much. This is the basic rule for our ecological and aesthetically qualitative approach. The infrastructure like the roads, waterworks, drainage and electricity is implanted in the environment as inconspicuously as possible. All the cables are put under the ground and the original vegetation grows back after a while. The lines of the roads follow the original slopes in the landscape and the drainage is connected to a sewage system.

Free choice of building firm
Our clients who have bought a building lot can choose their own architect, cottage model and building firm, but of course it has to be in conformity with the Norwegian building regulations. Many clients opt for our subsidiary Havrefjell Hyttene to have their cottage built. We also work together with the Havrefjell Hytteservice which offers maintenance services.
